(Anonym):Hello, I am a foreigner that lives in Switzerland for a few years now, and I decided to exchange my drivers license to Swiss one. By mail I received an appointment at local Strassenverkehrsamt for a test drive exam. At the bottom of the letter there was a notice that before test drive they recommend to take some driving lessons with an instructor.

So I took about 8-10 lessons. And during these lessons instructor was constantly telling me that in Switzerland there are rules that oblige you to drive in Kreisel near left side (if you're driving straight or left),so that gives more room for cyclists on the right side.

During test drive exam I did exactly this, and failed to pass the exam. Expert told me that I give "too much place for cyclists" and that I should be exactly in the middle.

I couldn't believe it. I called chef-expert at Strassenverkehrsamt and asked him where should I be in such situation. He told me that I did it right and he will talk with expert that was at the exam. So he called back in a few hours and told me that he apologizes for what he said and that expert was right.

During exam expert was asking questions, distracting me from driving. For example: Where you come from? What you do for living? etc
I mean these question are OK, but have nothing to do with exam!

So who was right? Where should I file a complaint? At driving school or Strassenverkehrsamt or somewhere else?
